Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Demi Moore, and Mikey Madison were among the stars attending the 97th Annual Academy Awards Nominees Dinner at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on February 25, 2025.
The dinner stood in place of the usual luncheon which would usually be held a month in advance of the awards, but were cancelled due to the LA wildfires.
The mixer proved to be especially fashionable, with Wicked stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo proving that pulling looks from the archives remains exceptionally popular.
Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, Grande looked elegant in Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 1991 Haute Couture - a pink feather strapless evening gown once worn by Catherine Deneuve at the 1993 Oscars.
Cynthia Erivo stunned in archival Givenchy from the Spring 1998 Couture Runway Show - a dress designed by Alexander McQueen and modelled by Erin O'Connor.
Stylised by Jason Bolden, she paired the look with some sky-high custom Christian Louboutin shoes.
Anora star Mikey Madison also looked to the past for her red carpet moment, wearing a navy embroidered gown from Bill Blass Fall/Winter 1987.
